Edupalooza, a not-for-profit organization, stands at the forefront of educational event management in Australia. Organizing the country's largest virtual conference for the education sector, Edupalooza offers an indispensable Event Hub. This hub serves as a nexus for events that resonate with international students, encapsulating networking, social gatherings, professional development, and initiatives spearheaded by education providers.
As the magnitude of events under Edupalooza's purview expanded, so did the intricacies of managing them. The primary challenge was the lack of a streamlined mechanism for partners to upload events, leading to potential bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Moreover, the burgeoning event catalogue necessitated a user-friendly interface for international students, ensuring they could effortlessly discover, categorize, and register for events tailored to their preferences.
Our journey with Eduaplooza began with intensive discovery sessions, delving deep into the core needs and expectations. Requirement gathering was not just about understanding the technical aspects but also about visualizing the end-user's journey.
The resulting strategy entailed the development of a new platform, seamlessly integrated into Eduaplooza’s existing website. This platform was designed keeping in mind both the event partners and the international students. For partners, the platform became a hub to effortlessly upload and manage their events. On the other hand, for students, this platform metamorphosed into a digital haven of opportunities. Features such as filters, categories, and labels ensured that students could fine-tune their searches, while the notification system kept them abreast of the latest happenings that matched their interests. Every event was equipped with comprehensive details, facilitating informed decision-making and a straightforward registration process.
